Be Still My Beating Heart...

This is what I saw the other night when I walked into our bedroom.  I noticed that Ava had been quiet for awhile and I went to find out why.  Turns out someone might like books as much as her Daddy does :) 



This is one of those moments that I hope to freeze-frame in my heart forever.

    These are the moments you cherish always! I have some of my own from both when my son was an infant as well as now that he is almost 2yrs old.

    aww that is the sweetest thing!! a dear friend of ours gave us this exact book for Shelby and i can't wait to see Josh doing this w/ her when she gets here! :) Soo sweet....

    Keep reading!! My daughter hated books until just recently and now I love reading her stories! I wish I would have started that early so just maybe she would have enjoyed them and took 5 minutes to sit down and listen :)

    Very sweet!!! Adorable pictures. Kirk use to read to the girls before they were born. Then it became a ritual with their daddy. And the tradition has continued with the grandchildren. Ella & Tate love it when we read to them. Brynn joins in with Ella now too. Keep it up,our girls still talk about it today. I love that it something Travis loves doing too.

    Oh my gosh I LOVE this!! She looks like she is totally looking at the pages!!! That is so precious. I love her little hands at the top of her blanket!!! I can't wait to squeeze her!!!

    Let me start off by saying that I enjoy checking out your blog. I found it through a friend and I have used many of your recipes. All were easy and wonderful by the way!

    I read this book to my son Landon when he was in my belly and I just got done reading it to him tonight. He is now 4 months.
