We had a great, all-american day yesterday as we celebrated the 4th! We spent most of the day playing and relaxing in my parents' backyard. It was a gorgeous day outside and Ava and Carter spent lots of it wet!
The pool, the sprinkler, the swing...it was a simple and sweet day.
This little nut ran herself silly from one activity to another!
And this little guy put anything and everything he could in that mouth!
Travis and I got to go out for a fireworks date last night, which was fun. We got some ice-cream and enjoyed the quiet of our car while we waited for the local fireworks to start. It was one of the best dates we've had in a while. Sometimes the best memories are from the simplest nights!

We are grateful to live in a country that is free but most of all, thankful for the ultimate freedom we have in Christ.
